FCoV23 Group Meeting
05/10/25 14:36
We came together, at least almost 25 of us, as an international group in Ft. Collins at the Translational Medicine Institute. It was a beautifully arranged board room that was technologically set up for our meeting to record by Zoom and other means. It was quite productive after 10 months of planning to report on research projects and plan for the future of research of FIP in Cyprus, Greece and other part of the world. We had people from Australia, Scotland, Greece, Germany, and the United State. One individual was from Northern Ireland originally, living in Pittsburgh now.
I was the note taker and camera person for our gathering.

Lead A Cat To Water

There is a saying that "one can lead a horse to water but you can't make them drink." Maybe the same goes for cats — I couldn't make this cat drink either at the CAT party.

A CAT Party in Portland

My favorite fellow Executive Director in the animal world of organizations is Karen Green. Karen is stepping away from her leadership role to deal with care of family. The Cat Adoption Team group (CAT) will miss her. They put together a party up in Portland at a place on SW Capitol Hwy. It was great to see many of the former board members and officers from when I was on the board up until 2021. See some of my fellow board buddies - Claudine Wilson, Karen Green, me, and Sandi Martin.

Vicki at Sea-Meow in Seattle

Well, I did it… I gave a presentation in front of a live audience at the Seattle Exhibition Hall at Seattle Center 2 days ago. It was noisy since there was a lot of exhibits and people talking in the hall. The stage was not really separated and sound proofed yet they were troopers to listen to me talk about the miracle of treating FIP. It was interesting to be back in Seattle after not staying there probably for the past 10 years?
Here is to the wonder of cats.
